1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 13, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 25, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on February 13, 2018.

Yesterday Oct 16,2018 finally we received invitation to Citizenship Test at Scarborough on Nov 1,2018
When applied lived in North York, moved to Newmarket a month ago.
We applied as a family, two adults and two minors.

HI Folks, I see some of the people have been asked to show the landing paper during the test. I dont think I have mine. I may have lost it.

Would this be a problem ?

It would be better to find out how to get another one as soon as possible. For us they mentioned on board for interview but the officer didn't ask. However it is very important document such as SIN number you must have it the original one. For mentioned the copy of it in citizenship application as well as it would be ask while applying for passport and all your benefits such as old age benefit and pension plan can not be start without the original landing paper so my advice is not to late it would be better to get one original from government before they ask you to show. You can simply say while shifting from one home to another you lost some papers and it was one of them.

Finally Long journey to become citizen was completed yesterday. Completed by Oath ceremony in Mississauga ( original office Scarborough). Good Luck to every one who are still waiting for test/oath letters.
