Hello my residence history of past 10 years looks like this at the time of eapr

Aug 2008-sept 2010 Pakistan

Sept 2010-July 2012 Canada on study permit

July 2012 - Aug 2015 Canada in work permit

Aug 2015 - Jan 2016 Pakistan

Feb 2016 to Present UAE

Would my security Screening take time considering the fact that most of the time I spent in last 10 years is in Canada and my initial 2 years of last 10 years have already been verrified at the time of study permit application.

So is it true that cic now only needs to verify my BG of last 3 years which shouldn’t be taking time??

You do not go through extensive security screening when you apply for TRVs that includes visitor, student and work visas. They wouldnt just check your last 3 years.

Also, every case is different. I am a CEC inland applicant and been waiting for my PR since the last 6 months. My application is being processed inside. .. only Security is left.
Just gotta be patient and wait.
