Question about passport expire date

Hi folks,

I applied EE and got AOR last week. Would that be an issue if my passport will expire in July 2019? Heard some people saying you need to have at least 6 months on your passport or visa when you are landing.

While PR application processing, Visa officer will check for the passport expiry. Since you applied last week, you will be fine in this case.
