DUAL Linking with GCkey?

URGENT INFO RE: GCKEY + linking. I linked my GCkey as a Sponsor to PA's account # after many tries>OK. Then PA also linked her same account number to GCKEY> OK. But I got e-mail , saying "This account is linked by some 1 else." Also happened both ways. In other words now it is clear that either Sponsor or PA can keep linked to the same application number at a time NOT both of you. Any comments or experiences are welcome so we learn from each other. What if they need something from Sponsor? Will PA upload? And Vice-Versa. Or it does not matter. OR any method to keep both guys linked PA to her app account no. and Sponsor to his UCI only ? sponsorship is a 2 part application....sponsor eligibility and PA PR application......after the sponsor is approved to sponsor their spouse.....the 2nd part starts, so prefer for the PA to link application and submit documents.

You can just use whichever account the application was linked to. Just share the login credentials with each other and you can both use that one account. It doesn't matter if the GCKey account has the sponsor or the PA's email.

To clarify something, GCKey is, primarily, used by the PA. That is why you needed to use the PA's info to link the application and you only see the PA side of things there. The sponsor can use ECAS to check for the sponsor's updates.

As for who to submit or upload additional requirements, it has to be the PA. They will, probably, not entertain anything from the sponsor once the application is already transferred to CPC-M or local VO unless the sponsor is also the PA's representative. To be a representative, there's a sign that needs to be submitted.

Hello, I am facing the same situation, My Husband linked my file from his Sign-in Partner account, and after that I linked through GCKey. As soon as the account got linked to my GCKey, my husband received a mail that his account is delinked.
We are worried now.
We don't know if we did any mistake by dual linking it.
Will we get the further mails properly.
Our file has been transferred to CPC-M On 10th March.
Any advice for us?

May leave it in Applicant's name only, no need to keep both
they won't allow both logins

Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing well.
Last day my wife’s application was submitted in india. And I was trying to login with gc key same day after 2 hr of submitting it and accidentally I entered all security answers wrong. Now It shows “your account has been locked, you can not recover it online” I’ve tried to link application but it doesn’t work. I have application number. But I don’t have UCI number. my concern is how can I recover my account and will it affect to the application? Please help me out if you have solutions for my concern. It would be great. I called immigration department i tried with the help of their instructions but it didn’t work though. Also they gave me UCI number as well. I’ve tried with UCI also but didn’t found my application. They told you have to fill a web form. I filled 3-4 days ago. Do you know how much time will take to respond IRCC?
