4 months and still No progress on file submitted

Hi folks,

Its been more than 4 months I have submitted all docs for express entry and still I have not received any update from Canada Immigration apart from medical exam clearance.

Can we expect further steps soon or they can take time and there is no specific period for this process to get over?

I am also planning to mail them about my case but not sure what could be right email contact.

Any suggestions??

Hey,

4 months is well under the normal turn around time. I understand the anxiety to know further about the file however it may take another month of two for them to make a decision.

I would go GCMS notes way only if do not see anything by 6 months.

Also sometime no news is good news, if they have not requested for additional docs or did not seek explanation then you are good.
