But for 1 year study +1 yr work experience you can go for another course and get study visa apply for EE if study visa expires you can apply for temporary residence visa till no decision given on ur pr application

I am 27 years old, with the last edu qualification a 12th grade and an aviation diploma, i have been working with an airline for the past 6 years, i applied for a diploma in one of the private colleges in canada and got an offer letter.
But now that im applying for visa when there is barely a month left for the course to start i hear that the chances of my visa getting rejected is very high,
I have invested money onto agencies and also paid up my fees, i cannot afford a refusal now. Can some one please help me out as im stranded without knowing how to create a proper SOP for myself, for a person like me who has lost or had to loose so many opportunities and this being my last hope..kindly help me out anyone.

Hello! I am thinking of pursuing a student visa instead of a PNP. I am just quite reluctant with the living expenses. I plan to bring along my 2 elementary school children and my husband. Ny husband can go for a work permit while I study and do part-time work. Will our potential monthly income in Canada be able to support a family of 4 while I am studying at a university too? Does anyone have an idea?

hi kagpia, which province u are going to? the family expenses may differ a lot among different provinces. Basically a family of 4 should be spending around 5k to 8k (including rent and everything)

Please let me know that for get PR after 2 years study in Canada is it important for choosing the course for study. For example it is necessary to choose a course that include in a state nomination course list.

I am planning to pursue 1 year masters from a canadian university. My main agenda of studying in canada is to gain some points so that i can eventually apply for PR. In the CRS calculator, i am having some confusions:

1. I have done graduation from India. Now i am pursuing masters from a canadian university. Which option should i be choosing below:
What is your level of education?

Enter the highest level of education for which you:

• earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
• had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)

Note: a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate must either have been earned at an accredited Canadian university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute in Canada. Distance learning counts, but only if it made up less than half your study.

Here, should i chose Masters option?

2. Also, here:

Have you earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate?

Note: to answer yes:

• English or French as a Second Language must not have made up more than half your study
• you must not have studied under an award that required you to return to your home country after graduation to apply your skills and knowledge
• you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
• you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months

3. When i have completed my masters and i have a valid job offer, then answering below question in CRS calculator should be a Yes?

A valid job offer must be

• full-time
• in a skilled job listed as Skill Type 0, or Skill Level A or B in the 2011 National Occupational Classification
• supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or exempt from needing one
• for one year from the time you become a permanent resident

A job offer isn’t valid if your employer is:

• an embassy, high commission or consulate in Canada or
• on the list of ineligible employers.

I am really confused about this last point above "for one year from the time you become a permanent resident".

But what will happen in the event the study permit is not approved? Does it mean that one will loose the money that was paid?

Also, is there any credit if the student has family members in Canada to support for food and shelter?

Hello! Most schools have a refund option. Better check the process with the school you applied for. The ones I’ve checked usually processes a refund if visa is not approved, less some administrative charges.

With regard to family support, you can indicate it in your SOP as part of your plan and proof of fund.
