I was sent the test invite; through my lawyer, by email on September 21st but ECAS was updated a few days later.

Is it the same for the oath invite?

Yeah, it’s not consistent.

I did my test in April 30th and there is no change in my status since. still in progress.
I have been waiting for more than 5 months to be invited for the oath ceremony. Is there any suggestion to what I need to do? Is there anyone similar to my case?

I applied in November 14th from Edmonton.

Many people are in that boat. Honestly, there is nothing to do. May be after 12 months, contact your local MP and poke the bear.

He only said: background check is in progress. that is all. Now i have been waiting for more than 5 months.
