My eligibility is recommended pass.
AOR is July 20
Medical was passed Mid-Aug

There is no fixed time frame. Can take anywhere between few days to 3-4 months.

From the latest trends, it appears that BG/Criminality is started on the back end even when your profile is showing IP1.

Hi, what kinda ADR was asked? No one can accurately specify the total time taken for it. On the positive side, the current timeline trends for US applicants are that, they get their golden email ranging from 1.5 months to 3 months however there can be some unfortunate ones who get stuck too.. also please, put your timeline in your signature, it will help out for future references too. Cheers !!!

Congrats. That means your application review is done and approved and the final step to issue your COPR is that landing interview which is not really a big one. What is your stream? And if you don't mind answering how far is date of your appointment from the day you received the landing interview email?

It is one week from the date you receive the interview request and I think this is the standard (1 week).

Another July applicant here. Here are my details :

FSW-O USA

• AOR : July 25th
• Med Passed : August 15th
• ADR : September 26th
• Replied to ADR October 1st

Status : Still in IP1 ("Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check".)

Now do you guys know how long it takes to review the ADR, they are still at "We are reveiwing the additionnal documents you provided" ?

I am really eager to put all this behind us haha, my company wants to send me to Canada but I'm holding them off to get my PR first !

P.S : Also had a consultant and fired them, they took forever to create our profile, and when the time came to submit our application, nothing moved in 3 weeks so we did it all by ourselves !

Hey - My AOR is 27 July and I am in IP1.

I also got the ADR recently on Oct 1 and I submitted the documents on Oct 3, the Status changed to NA on Oct 4 for ADR. My VO is Ottawa. Just FYI.

The criminality is fairly quick and is based on your PCCs. The security is unpredictable, but if your are not in SS, then it will be 1-2 months. If you are in SS, then it can take 6-12 months.

Hi All,

As like everyone in this thread I am still waiting for my PPR. Meanwhile hope someone could help me pertaining to my concern.

AOR Received = July 30 - 2018, CEC Inland.

Medical Passed = Aug 22 – 2018

Background check: IP2 since the same date (Aug 22 – 2018)

I am little worried because I’ve a travel plan on Nov 1st to India.


1) What should I do if I receive PPR before Nov 1st because if I haven’t get back my passport before my travel date of Nov 1st ?

2) What can I do if I receive PPR while I am in India? Is that possible to send my passport while I am in India (I have 3 weeks’ vacation plan in India), so how to approach CIC for this case?

3) As I applied PR for myself and my spouse (She lives in India), could it be possible send my passport with my spouse passport while I am in India? So that I could bring her with me while I am coming back to CANADA.

As you applied through a Consultant, I don't think you have access to your CIC Account where all the updates are coming. It's better you request for your Consultant to send you any updates via email. But, I don't know how it works since I applied myself. What you can also do is to order GCMS notes to get to know the progress of your application. It will cost around $10...It will take around 30-35 days to received the notes...Just check with your Consultant about it...

To tell you more, my AOR is also July 24th, and Medical Passed on 15th Aug..Since then, there are no any updates. We may need to wait by end of Oct or early Nov to get our PPRs...

i also have AOR July 24th and Medicals Aug 10th. Going by the records updated on immitracker, I think it will be end of November by the time we get our PPR. Right now people with AOR in 1st week of June are getting PPR's . SO, we are about 50 days behind them. That's just my thoughts.
