Ignore that Ready to Finalize ... It is there in every GCMS notes. My guess it is a field name. Unless there is another value in front of it .. it has no meaning. for example I think it is similar to say A11.2 (field name) but in front of A11.2 you see Appears met ... There is nothing in front of ready to finalize so don't read too much in to it. If you want check page 2 where you will see a summary. In that summary you will see blank in front of this and "Recommended Pass" in front of eligibility.
@cansha: Hmmm, I disagree. The punctuation marks suggest that the field name is R87.1: CEC MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-". The next field name after that is "RPRF:". Field names are followed by colons :)) or hyhens (-). Also, I don't see any field named 'ready to finalize' on page 2. All I see is that eligibility is recommend pass, and that criminality and background have not started. Thanks for the input anyways!

6 months from the r10 ie completeness check. General trend I see from the review required threads is 6 months to a year. You will be lucky if it's just 6 months. You can search the forums for review required threads.
Hi @navinball @cansha , am pasting the comment from notes below. Just wanted your opinions whether this looks like a normal 'review required' note? Am curious because for everything else it says met/appears met. Thanks

"Please review EDOC#XXXXXX REGARDING MATURITY DATED FOR FUNDS PROVIDED A11.2: MET R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS: APPEARS MET R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FUNDS: REVIEW REQUIRED..."

I'm a PR now :) Judging by how full their office was + how long I had to wait for my appointment, I think they have hit their peak in applications they can even process.
Congrats mate. It is official now :)
Could you share your experience. Anything special or any interesting point in your interview?
Could you also inbox me about PRTD if you asked about it. Thank you.

Folks, here it is.

P to the P to the R!!!

Since the AoR, it took a total of 104 days, during which I killed an incalculable amount of my brain cells, going through many many comments from you all on this forum, wondering what kind of microscopic examinations and dissections were taking place on my innocent little application.

Then IRCC decides to have a little heart and issue me the PPR email, a day after my birthday. The best birthday gift in a long time. I strongly suspect it was the Thanksgiving pie which led them to it.

Stay strong you all; if you've taken care of all the required paperwork, not done a whole lot of hanky panky in your life previously and not done any misrepresentation in your application, you will get the PPR too in due course, God willing.

Here's to a bright and happy future for all of us in the Kingdom of Poutine.

You have a review required on proof of funds. Rest of the stuff is ok. Might take a while but will be passed by an officer if he is satisfied with the docs.

I had the same thing too. Spouse NOC was changed like yours..
I’ve read somewhere that spouse’s NOC is changed by them to a generic code. My wife’s was changed too.

We can debate whether it is a field or not. But that was not my main message .I wanted to say don't read too much into to it as it doesn't mean your ppr is near. And as you have seen your BG check has not started which cororborates that. However one month has passed since the notes and I hope your file has moved .my file was untocuhed for over a month since the same point when I ordered Notes

Here is what ready to finalize means from the official website. It's not just "any field"
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html

Quoted from the official site
"Processing offices must enter a decision on section A11.2 in the Global Case Management System (GCMS) before an application can be finalized. All applications must be processed in the Express Entry eligibility screen"

Hello everyone,
I've been a passive viewer of this forum for the last week or so.
Your information has been greatly helpful, and looking at the positives - I hope I shall get PR soon too.
I submitted all my documentation and received AOR - on June 18th. Received medicals passed about 2 weeks after that. I think around 2nd July.
Since then haven't had any movement, but did check with Immigration a couple 2 weeks ago, and they said my app. looks fine, and that they'd let me know if they need any other info.

In the mean time, I've received a job offer from a company in Toronto, and would need to join ASAP.
I have a couple of questions -
1) Would adding my job offer and a letter of urgency from the company impact my PR timeline?
2) I found this urgent processing option on the same page where you can fill the form and submit queries about your application - is that option only valid for people who already have PR or can that act as an expedited process for getting PR for the first time as well?
- I am planning to submit the offer contract, the letter for urgency (and if this is valid for new PR applications) the travel ticket and payment - which is what is required based on the urgent processing requirements.
3) If not, is there an option for getting an expedited WP (I have a very specialised skillset in scientific vaccine research work) ? Would getting a WP impact my PR application?

Any help would be appreciated!

It's when your profile shows "application updated" but you don't see any change. It's a made up term by people.
Means u already recive the Ghost update?

USA applicant: Does anyone know if you have to submit your US legal status paperwork along with passport when you send it to CIC for PR visa. The reason i am asking because my old passport has been expired and new passport does not have any details. However i do have my legal paperwork with me. I am not sure if i just need to send new valid passport or along with my legal paperwork.

Yes, this essentially means I meet the eligibility criteria. I said "I didn't see any field named 'ready to finalize' on page 2". That translates to "there is no field named 'ready to finalize' on page 2". It does not translate to "this is any field". LOL.

Hi guys. So I finally got to speak with an agent today. When I asked for my visa office she said CIO Ottawa. Now I'm unsure if I heard correctly. Pls is there anyone who's had same experience? When I asked for eligibility, security and criminality she had no update too. Is this normal or did I speak with an agent who probably has no clue? Please help!!
