Patience bro, u cant know if u have crossed ur eligibility and if background checks are currently in progress unless u order the notes. It is still too early to order for it as well. U really cant 100% rely on the background check status on ur cic account cuz i have read several cases where it reflected 'we are reviewing your application and we will send u a message when we start your background check' and those applicants got golden email directly.

Hello All,

My AOR is 22nd August and i passed my medical on 17th sept and on 28 sept i was ask to pay RPRF fee which i payed on the same day .

Now my question is under my additional documents section it says Not Applicable

Has someone faced this issue and my background section says that we will send you message when your background verification will start so could someone comment i am on which stage and also i have received email regarding job match

I have the same AOR and Medical as you .. applying from Serbia as FWS-O.

The day we got our Medical pass, we got the biometric letter.
Two days later we did biometrics and our profile was updated the same day with the message: biometrics done
Also, immediately status for our background changed to: we are checking your background - if we need more info we will let you know.
Previously our background check was "in progress".
Several days after we did biometrics our additional documents changed to: we do not need any additional documents.

What sorta ADR did u get? If it were a RPRF and if the 'review of additional docs' turned to ' not applicable' , then its absolutely normal and nothing to worry about. Pls add ur timeline and stream in ur signature so that it will be easier for reference.

I called CIC and agent told me (after a wait time of 40 mins) that my background check is in progress now. I asked again that as per online status my background is yet to be started. But she reiterated that its in progress as per her system and I should wait more. I hope this is same case for all of us, waiting for update post medicals.

CIC number +1 613-944-4000 from hangout.. There are multiple options which you have to select before reaching to agent. Just listen carefuilly to all the options and have you profile details ready for verification. It was my third attempt this time.

Naa, u cant rely upon the eligibility status shown on the cic profile cuz it may remain in that manner until u get ur golden mail and maybe even post that.. if the agent has confirmed that eglibilty is recommended pass then u have crossed the biggest hurdle, its quite a relief

I bet, if cic cud be more transperant, adequately detailed with the status on the cic accounts, then they wont be boggered or slowed down from their work due to high volumes of calls. Its frustrating actually to be hung upon after dialing with great anticipation!!
