I would say nothing to worry, Its normal. Still OCT applicants are in Process.
next stage would be either CIC may ask additional document or will send you test result.
Post verification and test passed - it will turn to - Decision Made.

In-Process is usually the longest duration status most applicants have.

Hope this helps.

Same for you!!!!
If this is from an ID called karinamamamia, you can just click on the profile and hit the 'ignore' button, then you won't see any of her BS and you'd have much more peace. I have ignored this ID for a while and whatever replies made by this ID is filtered out from the system as if it didn't exist, it's a great tip I learned from someone who ignored it first LOL - you can also hit 'report' if it says something really inflammatory, then the admin would just delete it for you

Hi,

I totally get your anxiety of waiting forever, as I can relate to that. Ignore all the bad comments, my friend.

I am in IP (I assume IP means application status In Progress) since July, and I've originally mailed my application in April 2018. I have friends from Manitoba who mailed in the application later than me (three weeks later to be precise), and they already received their test invitation.

So I am thinking maybe it depends on the province you are in currently? E.g. Ontario or BC would probably have more applicants, therefore takes more time?

Also a question, I see a lot of people say AOR here, what is that? (sorry for the dumb question by the way)

AOR means acknowledge of receipt, it is the first correspondence (email) that you receive from CIC..
I totally understand a lot of factors in this journey.. just we need to wait

In Process since June 27th, which is nothing compared to some of you guys. I just wish there was some kind of consistency and above all, more transparency as to why some people get it so quickly and others wait much much longer without any apparent reason that we know about. I'm an April applicant and while I don't have much to complain about at the moment given that I'm only 6 and a half months in, there are some fellow April applicants who have taken the oath and now already have the passport, and then there are many others in the forum who have been In Process for a year or more and are unable to get answers.
