Guys, this is what I've received this morning from the London VO. Absolutely infuriated after seeing this shit. Basically all they do to us is just lies and let our applications rot for months and months 
. They've been telling me all along that my security started in March but now all of a sudden it changed to June. Absolutely freaking speechless by ircc's laziness.

currently ongoing for this file. These checks
were initiated in June. We are unable to advise
when these checks will be completed as they are
conducted in Canada and unfortunately our office
is in no position to expedite them. Background
checks may take up to more than six months
sometimes, however, rest assured that our office
continues to monitor the situation and requests
frequent updates from the office in charge of these checks.
Please note every application is different and
the processing time may differ from one file to the other.
We appreciate your patience during this process.

London is atleast replying ndvo doesn't reply at all come what may.
AOR is May 17 and yeah it's security screening, which started apparently only in June according to this last message. Whilst previous correspondence that I've had from them since March, they've been telling me that my file is going through background checks. Don't know what to believe until my CBSA notes turn up.
