@cansha just so that you can update the tracker... as of 12th June Eligibility - Recommend Passed, Criminality - In Progress, Security- Not Started and Info Sharing - Complete. This is based of first set of GCMS notes received on 21st Aug.

It is RC-2710 for me as well and till date all the processing has happened outside Montreal

Thanks for sharing. When did your criminality start?

Can you give a little more timeline. When was eligibility recommended passed? When criminality started and when was your file transferred to Montreal.

Yours is first case where criminality has started.

Looks like RC-2710 is the guy responsible to move eligibility from "recommended passed" to "Met" in Montreal !

Just went through all the notes (144 pages :D), it seems my criminality started with CIO itself on 15th May and as part of that they requested Canada RCMP (as an ADR) which i submitted on 28th May. And the final update on the file was on 12th June and that was done in Montreal only where the analyst has asked for a review of statutory questions for my wife as she has a US visa refusal 10 years back. Which does not makes sense as currently we are all in US but still that intelligent analyst wants a review.

So nothing since then....

Yeah don't expect too much discretion from analysts. I think they also have a set SOP or guidelines and they will recommend based off that. So, if in their guidelines it is written mark any application with visa refusal for review they will do it irrespective of whether that makes sense or not. That call I think will rest with the visa officer and I think you have nothing to worry once an actual visa officer picks your file. BUT the question as always is when do a visa officer will have enough time to look at our files. Based on all the notes we have seen is that the files remain untouched for months. Not sure if it is a manpower issue or just simple plain apathy on their part or may be a combination of both.

@Y@$h, @phaneeswar130 Are you guys planning to call CIC?
Nope. The first time I called them the lady said eligibility is "recommended passed", a month later I called again, the guy this time said Eligibility is Not started. Then I ordered GCMS notes, and the notes clearly showed my eligibility is recommended passed.

I have seen others with similar experience. Having said that, I no longer trust those customer service guys. Only GCMS notes will have perfect info. I will probably order notes again in the end of this month.

fair enough ... makes sense and I agree quality of information depends on what sort of agent you end up with. It is not reliable. I think I will also order another set of notes and hope to see criminality and security started in that set.

We actually have one user in the list whose criminality and security was also set to pass at Ottawa and file was moved to Montreal with "Ready to Finalize". They have not come around to process that file yet where they have to do anything.

Hmm.. This clearly shows that these guys are not actively working on any EE files whatsoever.
