ETA or Visa?

My dad's 77 year old uncle is here in USA on 10 year tourist visa from India. We want to take him to Canada to show him Niagara falls, should be apply for visa or ETA or can we get visa on the border? We don't have any close family in Canada so there will be no sponsorship. We are driving and we are going to stay there for the weekend. How long does the process takes, how much does it cost and how long can we stay there?

You need visa to enter on Indian passport. The process is on IRCC website. It may take up to a month to receive visit visa for Canada. The visit visa of Canada May also be valid for 10 years similar to B1/B2 visa of USA.
