Hello everybody,

So here is the situation.
I am an Indian national, working in Germany.
My question is : do we need to show our salary account details with bank statements in the Proof of Finance as well? Or, any account with the sufficient funds should be fine as far as the concerned document indicates the required money?

The problem with my case is:
I have gathered all my money in my indian bank account for the sake of document. Getting a document from a financial institute is a big big challenge in Germany (not at all a developed country IMHO).
Since I am applying from Germany, and i have been working in Germany, I am a bit confused whether i need to show my german salary bank statements in the proof of finance or not.

Any suggestions are really really appreciated.
Thank you.

Doesn’t matter what account you use until it has the funds required. There is no requirement of showing salary slips. People do it but it’s not asked for from IRCC.

Dear Cansha,

Thank you for the clarification. This raises another question which i assume might be relevant for others as well.
I have already received my ITA. As far as i have understood, the financial document needs to show average balance of last 6 months in the account/accounts.

I do have necessary money in the account which i gathered on my own. The problem is: i transferred them 1.5 months back. I raised money by selling some company stocks and then transferred the liquid money to my indian account. I do have necessary receipts and statements of my shares and stock sellings from my broker.
In this case, what are your suggestions?
I was considering to write a letter of explanation and attach all my stock selling documents in that. Should that be sufficient at a first place to convince the processing officer that the funds were not borrowed or raised in any suspicious ways?

Now, in this way, do you also think to show the salary slips to indicate my monthly installments for the equity program of the company?
Although i am a bit concerned that my account number on my salary slips will be different than the one i will show as my proof of finance(indian bank account).

Thank you.

A large deposit 1.5 months is required to be explained. Your plan is fine to write a letter of explanation and give all details.

They are not reviewing your banking choices ... only the funds belong to you.

Your plans seems reasonable to me.

Thank you so much Cansha. This indeed satisfies my doubts. :)
