Relevant experience and Degree

I have a BBA honors degree in Human Resource management and i have taught for a year at the secondary school level. Would my work experience as a teacher be counted (in the express entry programme) considering the fact that i don't have a teaching degree/certificate? (In this country, u don't need a teaching degree to teach at the secondary level.)
