Hi
I have done bds (4yrs+1yr internship) from punjab. I am 24 and i wish to apply for express entry to BC or Quebec.
My brother is a PR in BC.
I am currently working in a private dental clinic for the past 9 months. I got in hand salary in the beginning and now via cheques.
Am i eligible for the express entry ?
PS- i have been told that the minimum work experience is 3 years to be eligible.
Kindly help me out
Thanks

no minimum work exp is 3 yrs to get max points. but you are eligible if you have 1 yr continuous exp in the past 10 yrs.

Neither of those grants points. If you want to claim points for your French skills you would need to do the TEF exam. Do not expect to get any points if you're at A1 level.

If you want points for French as second language, you need to take the TEF Canada French test. A1 won't give you any points at all, even as second language. You need at least B1 in each section (CLB5), and that's for just 4 additional CRS points ...

For your first language, to be eligible for PR on the 67/100 eligibility scale, you need to have CLB7 minimum in all 4 sections. If you're taking the IELTS, that's bands 6/6/6/6. That would give you 68 CRS points if you're applying alone, and 64 if applying with spouse.

That was really helpful.
Thankyou
