PR Card - how long does it take for the application status to appear online?

I applied for a PR Card renewal - I mailed it via registered mail so I know they got it 2 weeks ago and it still doesn't show anything when I try to check my application's status online. Is this normal or should I start calling them?

3weeks.
If you still cant view it call CIC

What he said was inaccurate. Usually nothing shows until your application has been picked up and in process. I have the same timeline as you and can also see nothing.
