Hi all,

I just graduated and am going to applied my PGWP. Shortly speaking, I successfully finished my 4-year Undergraduate program in 2017 summer. Then I finished my 3-term Graduate program in 2018 summer.

From the Government of Canada website, it says
"
  • If a student obtained a 1-year degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible institution in Canada after having obtained, within the prior 2 years, another degree, diploma or certificate from an eligible institution in Canada, the duration of the work permit may be up to 3 years.
"

I believe my situation is in this case. A 4-year Undergraduate program and a 1-year Graduate program without a gap. However, I noticed that it says "may be up to 3 years". So now I am wondering am I eligible for a 3 years PGWP.

If you know please leave a comment. Thanks in advance.

1. As long the degrees are from a Canadian School with a DLI and the program are eligible for a Post Grad work permit, and you haven't had one previously, you will get 3 years.
