Hello, I have applied my application on 4th june 2018. it's been 4 months and I don't see any update on my application. every time I call CIC {1(888)242-2100}, tape only says that my background check has not started yet. What does that means? I am getting bit anxious day by day as it is already been 4 months now. is there anyone here having same problem as me?

I think you should order GCMS notes. GCMS notes will tell you what exactly has been done, if your eligibilty requires extra reviews, etc....
Check www.getgcms.com to read more about the notes before you order one and you can also search this forum for more information. The GCMS notes will cost you about $15 or $10 (from GCMS buddy), depending on where you order.

Thank you Preetsingh I see your background check started on 18 and they make decision on 19th. But as per my knowledge BG checks in 3 different stages right? please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi my processing time is same as you.. been four months and they haven’t even started Background check.. let us know if anything changes

Hi, it's hard to say how ircc works internally. I received my PPR on 27th sept. My aor is June 4th. I was also constantly worried that my background check was not started. I ordered gcms notes and even there it said that background check has not started. But out of the blue I received PPR. So don't worry so much about the background check. Order gcms notes only if you are not sure of your documents. If your documents are fine then you will get PPR soon.

Its not like that. Delhi Visa officers, they update statuses a bit late. So its fine. You should get GCMS notes.

my AOR is 15 may. I am in same situation. Just waiting.
