Court marriage valid for spouse/dependent Visa..?

No, only the court marriage isn't enough. You guys can do court marriage but after then make sure ut should be registered. When u'll get it done registerd you guys will get marriage certificate n that certificate is valid proof of marriage. I faced same problem even though my wife is born citizen we submitted court marriage certificate n cic didn't accept it so they asked for marriag certificate which is registration certificate. So don't take risk you can do court marriage or traditional marriage but it should be registered.
