VISITOR EXTENSION ONLINE SUBMISSION PROBLEMS!! Please help!

I'm losing my mind, I've tried everything I can think of. I've uploaded all but my application form to extend my visit, it won't let me! I get an error message saying "Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. Modify your answers or the value in your form."

I'm not completely sure where I've messed up. There's a section that says How long do you intend to stay and i've tried putting from the day I came to Canada to the day my stay expires, I've tried putting it from today's date to the day it expires, from the day it expires to my desired date. None of it has worked.

I'm not sure where else the issue could be, and I need to submit it like... last week. I just submitted my spousal sponsorship and i'm getting an extension while it's being processed and I'm realizing now I should have tried it sooner... I'm absolutely vexed about what the issue could be. I've even tried uploading it on different web browsers, I also can't sign the bottom if that has anything to do with it. Please help..

No, sadly I haven't and i'm really starting to panic because I don't have that much time left. I called and told them of my issue and sent a couple of requests for help. They told me to screenshot everything, so I did and messaged them back. Hopefully tomorrow the issue will be solved. If you figure it out please, please tell me what you did.

Oh my god I feel like a total idiot. At the top it has three boxes you could check

Extension of temperary resident status
Restoration of temp res status as a visitor
and
Innitial -yada yada-

I chose restoration of temp res status as a visitor because that's what I thought I"m doing but I think that's just for if you've left the country and want to renew. Just click extension of temp res status and you can submit!!

I'm a worker here in canada and my work permit is about to expire and im having the same problem i cant get through because im getting the same error "Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. would it apply to me what you did of choosing the extension of temp res status?coz i could see on this topic visitor extension and im a worker.is visitor and worker the same?hope for quick answer.thanks!

I'm not completely sure what to do in your situation, I apologize in advance. You seem as if you're applying online, if you are I'd suggest just trying all boxes and trying to submit them. When I submitted mine I was given the error message right away. I hope this helps and if not, message me back on here and i'll help you try to figure it out!

I just needed to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I only just stumbled across this (good old google search). I've been having the exact same problem as you did and been picking my mind for literally the last 2 months (my original application actually expired because I still could not figure out what I was doing wrong). I did the exact same thing as you re ticking the different boxes at the top of the form. I've sent emails snd reported problems and still have no replies. But today I finally submitted thanks to YOU!

i have done 2 years of study in canada. when i applied for work permit , i only got 2 years of work permit out of 3 years because my passport was expiring in 2 years from the date i applied. so, i called cic and they said yo can again apply for work permit and you'll get rest of the work permit then. but now, when i try to reapply/extend my work permit, its showing me an error.
"Your status expiry date in the answer you provided previously does not correspond to the Restoration in your form. Modify your answers or the value in your form"
can anyone please help me in this case as i have only 2 months of work permit left with me.

hi i had a same problem for extend work permit :
in 3. iam applying for one or more of the following : only choose one of the options if u choose two at same time it will show that error .(don't choose restore my status as a worker )
