ICT is LMIA exempt. As long as you have a valid job offer you are eligible for the 50 points.Can ICT used for LMIA exempt? So i can earn 50 points for CRS?

You will need a letter from your employer that states they have job offer for you for atleast one year from the issuance of PR. If your employer will not provide that, I have read in the forum that you can submit offer letter, work permit. There has been success with the latter.Thank you for your prompt response. Am working for my employer on ICT and my assignment is expected to continue till 2019. Will I be asked for any documents/letters anything from my employer? I have my deputation letter and secondment letter which states that am here on workpermit (ICT).

You cannot claim those points until after completing a year of full-time work experience.In my current assignment No. it’s only 3 months. But have valid WP till 2019.

Hi,Not correct. It is not just having valid work permit.
If you don't have LMIA, following conditions have to be met to claim 50 points for arranged employment:
1) your employer's name (lets say XYZ canada) should be mentioned in your work permit (you should be having this since you have ICT visa)
2) you should have worked for the employer mentioned in the work permit for 1 year. (Please note that employer is XYZ Canada. You cannot claim points based on your work experience with XYZ India)
3) XYZ Canada has to give a separate letter that they continue to employ you for a period of 1 year after the grant of permanent residence.
I am not sure how your case would be considered. I would say consult an immigration lawyer to get this clarified.Hi,

I had overall 11 years of experience in the NOC code 2174 working in India, US and Canada. I worked in Canada from Sep 2015 to Nov 2016 and then moved back to US with the same employer. My work permit expired in April 2017 and got a new work permit in October 2017 with the same employer again. My work permit was LMIA exempt as its a Intra company Transfer. I moved back to Canada again in July 2018 and has a job offer letter for at least one year from the same employer. I am submitting my express entry profile (got all other conditions met) and not sure if i can say yes for the below question. As i had 1 year of experience with the same employer between 2015 and 2016 and the current work permit being with the same employer, can i say YES to the below question ?
Has XYZ been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?)
