This is really concerning. My application is in process since August 7 and I don’t know how long it’s gonna be more before I get test date, and five months just for oath date is just

They gave everyone a piece of paper which says oath may happen in 3 to 5 months. The officer said everyone is different.

I completed my Citizenship test today and passed. Immigration officer was very nice and asked for passport PR card to verify and mentioned she approves my citizenship file. I can expect my Oath ceremony in 6-8 weeks.

The whole process took only 30 mins for me in Ottawa. (I finished my test in 5 mins, first to be called for Interview)

Updated in July sheet. So it seems that it was not the whole process again as you were suspecting.

Yes, it was not the whole process, but when I phoned them up, they said its like a whole process, and they were adamant that the processing time is same, ie. 5-6 months. Perhaps if you can add a note on the sheet to say that this was for a name change, so that it does not skew the numbers.

Not at all same dates here I am in Montreal . From the trend it looks like 2 months from IP to test date, so expect it mid Oct hopefully .
