It’s hard! Canadian government recognized your credentials but employers, ahem ahem!!

Pharmacy. Ouch! Good luck with that! It will take a least a year and some 20k CAD at least and 2-3 test, so you can get a licence on anything related to pharmacy

Pharmacists, Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers/Professors and Accountants, are some of the professions requiring the most patience when it comes to landing a job in Canada, even if you have 99 years of experience. It almost doesn't matter, if they feel you're not familiar with Canada.
While some professions like doctors will require you to be licensed to practice, others like teachers will just have employers believe one doesn't have enough Canadian experience to truly understand how the system works.

In your case, see if there is any training/certificate/degree/diploma that you can take to increase your chance, and decrease your waiting time.
From what I hear, it could be a walk through the desert for many...

Good luck to you.

If you are talking about a survival job(Like driving uber, part-time jobs), yes you would get it in a week.
If you are talking about a job as a pharmacist, it depends on the acceptance of your Postgraduate from India to Canadian by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) and if accepted you have to undergo an exam and then structured practical training program. After successful completion of that, you will be given a license. If the equivalence is not accepted you have to study the course in Canada. hope this helps in your decision.

Most of the survival jobs are a physical-like warehouse, packaging, production or in restaurants. The desk jobs are very rare to come by. if you know someone in Canada who can help you settle in a job will be helpful. This would need long hours of standing and hard work. Driving Uber is out of option for you, as a newcomer you would need to put down the huge downpayment for the car, and to get a driving license is time-consuming.
