I’m sure there are no exceptions that can circumvent law, but it really comes down to how convincing you can be if it comes to an appeal and the evidence you provide to sway a decision in your favour. The importance of your work for the government may be one of those items you present as evidence. But really, it only comes to that if you are reported.
Not to make light of your intent, but that is a common theme amongst PR who are facing possible residency review for RO. Not the most convincing statement IMO, as IRCC probably hears it several times a day.
