Your BGC is in progress.@legalfalcon
I hope you will help me.
According to my recent GCMS notes, I have the followings:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started (On the top right corner of the page, s15(1) is written)
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
According to my application status on cic.gc.ca, my background status is:
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
I would like to know my background check is started or not at that point?
1. Not necessarily, but will depend on the nationality of the spouses.@legalfalcon
Dear legalfalcon
your efforts are tremendous.
I would like to clarify some points;
1. inter-country marriage can be a reason for delay/SS even though you are married in court and from a long time like 2/3 years?
2. how about if a person is having 02 wives? as mostly in the middle east we have the cases. Can not declaring the one wife can push you in delay/SS?
Regards
Now I became a bit worried. I got two ghost updates without PPR in August.Hi @legalfalcon:
I need your expert advice on my case. My AOR is of 2nd April 2018 and on completion of my 6 months I sent an email to Ralph and as per his reply, most of the members are saying that I am in SS. Can you please give your advice on that. (Email snapshot attached).
As per Ralph:
I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received April 2, 2018.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are finalized within that timeframe, while 20% take longer.
Eligibility passed.
Criminality passed June 25, 2018.
Your spouse’s security checks passed Sept 26, 2018.
Your security checks were initiated Sept 27, 2018 and are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Jan and April 2019.
I got a ghost update on 27th Sep and I thought I will get PPR soon but now it's like I need to wait for another year.
Thanks,
Anjum
The 6 months process time starts from the day you passed your R10 and not your AoR.Hi @legalfalcon:
