Eligibility before applying for PR

Hi All,

I am on a closed work visa and its for 2 years, I would be applying for a PR after one year through express entry process.
Now the company has given me an option to move back to home country and do work from home, So for applying PR do i have to be in Canada ? what is the duration i need to be living in Canada so that i can be eligible for PR through express entry.

Can i stay in canada for few months and then come back to home country so that my work still stays intact. Then apply for PR

If you are applying through CEC, you should be paying local taxes here in Canada then only you can claim that work experience under CEC class.

However, if you are applying through FSWP then you can claim that work experience by working from home as well.
