Outland app stuck in Missassauga

Hello guys,

My application was received on May 17th in Mississauga.
In June I got AOR, additional documents request, medical request and SA.
Beginning of July medical was done and it was updated on GCKEY.
I got no news after that. The last update on ECAS is that medical was received.
It has been 3 months without updates and no AOR2. My file has not been transferred to the local VO.

Is anyone on the same boat? Is there any May applicants that have not got AOR 2 yet? Has anyone experienced that ?
I wonder why CIC Mississauga would hold back my file for 3 months after medical was passed.

They transferred all outlands to SYDNEY and if it has been captured by Sydney Too bad I mean if they sent it to Sydney for a review or something then give it another month or 2 But if file had been sent to VO good 4 you in that case they did not upload info may be lined up at the VO

Thank you for this very helpful info ! I was trying to figure out the reason they would take so long to transfer.
I had no idea that CIC transferred the outland files to Sydney.
I called CIC about 2 weeks ago and the only thing that they told me was that my application was still under review and that there is nothing abnormal with it, so I am sure that file has not been transferred to VO yet. =(

Op applied before the change so there would be no transfer to sydney.

It could be that mississauga will handle the application. Order your notes!

Yeah, that is what I thought! And we I called CIC, they told me that my application was under review in Mississauga, not Sydney.

Do you think I should request my GCMS notes?

My husband called 1 month ago. They told him that everything is fine, and at any time we'll receive the transfer email. But we're still waiting.

I don't know what to think about it. Some people whose files were sent to Sydney and returned to Miss, have had more progress in their applications even when they received Aor after me.

I don't think that my application will be processed there because if it were, I'd have already received AOR2, and it's not common for South American applications to be processed there.

I'm thinking it could be related to red flags. I know very well that we have one or two. There are red flags in your relationship?

I also called two weeks ago and they told me the same thing. That everything is fine, nothing abnormal and that I should wait.
My timeline is very similar to yours, except that I am 1 month ahead. My medical request was 29th June, I got SA July 6th.
From what the agent told me on the phone, they area doing the PA eligibility and I am not sure what kind of information from him it would be a red flag. I think that the fact that I am not Canadian by birth, I got the citezenship 3 years ago, may be a problem.
Also from what I heard in other posts, I think that at this stage in the process IRCC is checking if our relationship is genuine. When the file is transferred to VO, then criminal and security will be done. I am not sure is this is how things work, but I would guess that.
I am also South American and although I have seen South American app being processed at mississauga, I don’t think it will apply to us.
Have you ordered your GCMS notes ?
