Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

I just want it finished soon. Since I planned to come home this Christmas. But i guess now it could not happen.

Ya it's pushing time now for Christmas as the PR card likely won't arrive until mid December, as our appointment is Oct 16.
You kind of need it really soon I hope it will be a few days and you can make it home !

Have they asked you for any other documents ? They did for us that's why we were so delayed in the final stage, I also went to my MP as we were past the 12 month mark. I think it made them take a closer look at our file and make the final decision, which ended up them not needing the additional documents after all. I really can't give you a reason why it was like this and why they changed their mind.

My Mp just called CIC . They said it’s very good. Just waiting for one more step . It will be done the end of October. If nothing happens. We will called them middle of November. Just be patiently.

Just so everyone know, the processing times have changed to 11 months (according to IRCC telephone service). Not that, that's gonna help with the desperate people but Hey! Things are getting better. Also take note that probably this week will be a slow one on their automatic phone service as Quebec is having elections today.

Update: My wife got AIP yesterday morning. We got DM on both sides in ECAS account this morning. I got SA recently this evening. My wife got a letter via email that Etobicoke office will contact for landing appointment. Yay! We're so close to the end! Our timeline is in the signature block. We hope to get her PR card by December, then it would perfectly 12 months timeline for us.

We received the same recently this evening at 7 p.m. Yay! Hopefully they'll email us instead of by phone as we're both Deaf.

Now, I guess I will need to wait to hear from Vancouver Office. Do they usually email or call?

They will set it up themselves and if you are not available on the set appointment, you can reschedule.

I got mines today was well. I hope they email not call. I havent been able to update any of my contact info or address. Nothing works on the change of address site
