@hussainkestrel dude I saw your thread and it was really active so you must have good knowledge about the ongoing visa situation.
Can you guide us as you got the visa yourself.
I have heard the chances of getting student visa are really slim.

Hi, my name is sarmad and I recently graduated with B.E Mechatronics degree from Szabist karachi Pakistan. I got 3.0/4.0 Cgpa (79-82%) (B grade) and 7 overall band in ielts exam. I am planning to apply to MEng Mechanical engineering program for September 2019 entry at following universities
1)Ryerson university
2)Western university
3)University of Albarta.
What are my chances to get admission in the universities mentioned above? And if apply now when should I expect admission decision for September 2019 intake

Your acceptance in university has good odds as you have 7 in Ielts and good gpa.
The main issue nowadays is the student visa as the embassy is rarely giving it.
But You are going for 2019 so you have time and inshallah the visa situation would get better by then.
Right now my advice would be to get admission the university will reply about your admission in 1 month or so.
Then 3-4 months prior to your university start date apply for visa to be secured.
Complete all documents and write a strong SOP.
That’s all I can tell you

hi all,
I received my entry visa to Canada and planning to enter on 10th January as an exchange student. The letter which I received states that I would be receiving my study permit at the airport.

My question is if I show the immigration officer an admission in a full time program for one year, will I be granted one year study permit or it will still be a 3/4 months study permit which I requested initially.

Your response will be appreciated

Thanks
