Dear Keebs,

Is this something similar to immitracker? And getgcsm is a private company? I have no idea about this, can you please fill in my knowledge gaps for this please?

Thank you very much!
No my dear you won't get a ban. You get banned if you are found guilty of intentional misrepresentation or forgery. Mistakes don't put ban on applicant. Getgcms is legit and operated by @legalfalcon who is a very senior member at this forum. He is also very helpful too. So you can trust these guys.

As far as I know, its correct that PCC has to be issued after your departure from that particular country but in your case two months have passed and no refusal so as @mr.preetsingh suggested you just wait and watch. If u have passed your medical then most likely u have passed the R10 stage and mostly rejections happened becuz of these types of concern during this stage.

Also if seniors agree, i would recommend ask someone to get a new PCC on your behalf and submit it thru CSE

To make it simple, the first stage is called R10, which is the regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee 'protection Act.

The Express Entry six-month processing time begins when an application is assessed as complete. This means that the 6 months processing clock starts when the R10 is passed or the completeness check is passed. This is the first step in processing the application. Applicants are required to submit a complete electronic application for permanent residence (e-APR) within 60 calendar days of being issued an invitation to apply (ITA). The application and all supporting documents must be submitted electronically through the applicant’s online account. This is the first stringent check of the application. The Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act Regulations imposes a strict liability on the applicants to account for all documents uploaded, satisfy what was stated in the EE profile, and ensure that there are no gaps. An application that is incomplete is liable to be rejected as per section 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, and all fees associated with the application are refunded to the applicant.

A complete application includes the following:

  • the electronic applicaton (e-APR);
  • the cost recovery fees; and
  • all supporting documentation to support applicant’s Express Entry profile and e-APR.
Usually, by this stage, the medicals are also passed. The medicals reports are reviewed by Health Canada.

Having said this, the review is done by officers. It is an applicant's responsibility to ensure that the application is complete and all supporting documents are uploaded. If a document is missing without a explanation, then your application can be rejected, but it largely depends on the officer reviewing it.

If you missed a document, send it via CSE immediately.

So in above case 2 months have passed by and even though his PcC is issued before his departure from his country of residence which shouldn’t be a case, he has not heard anything from IRCC and even passed his meds.

Does that mean R10 is cleared or issued date of PCC from home country can be before your departure?

Dear Legalfalcon,
As per my BG status it says "“We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“" meaning that I am in IP2 stage,
So does it mean that CIC has no problem with my PCC? and everything is alright at this stage? Should I get a new PCC and send to CIC?

Please advise? Thank you very much!

Dear Friends,

I submitted my eARP two months ago along with all the additional documents they asked. I have been waiting for my PR and yesterday I found out by chance regarding the police certificate, my situation is as follows;

I am a Pakistani national, I went to Pakistan (stayed there for 3 weeks) and obtained my PCC on 14 April and departured on 20 April to Malaysia (my current residence place). What I found out was that, the PCC should be obtained AFTER you have left the country and if it issued before the departure date, then your application will be refused.
Your PCC is just fine, date-wise, you do not need a new one.
(a) It was less than 6 months old at the time you applied, which is the minimum validity.
(b) The rules changed in July; for countries where you are not currently a resident, you have to obtain the PCC after you stopped being a resident for at least six months. Since you only stayed in Pakistan for 3 weeks and are still a resident of Malaysia, then your PCC still counts as being issued after you last resided in the country.

Your application will not be refused for this reason. Keep in mind it is always IRCC's right to ask for a new PCC, but if they want a new one, they will as for it.

Dear Jes_ON,

I never stayed in pakistan (my home country) more than 6 month commutative for a particular year since 4 years. I had several short trips there.

Even if I went to Pakistan (stayed there for 3 weeks) and obtained my PCC on 14 April and departured on 20 April to Malaysia (my current working place). What I found out was that, the PCC should be obtained AFTER you have left the country and if it issued before the departure date, meaning PCC for my home country should be issued on 21 April.

As per your guidance, there is no issue? Please adivse?

Thank you

Old rules. The rules changed in July, that is no longer the requirement.

Dear Friends,

I need urgent help from experienced people. I submitted my eAPR on 23 July along with additional documents.

The Proof of funds which I provided did not indicated my current balance, loans (which i have none), average 6 months balance, credit card loans (which i have none). My bank only provided my an official letter head stating that I have account with them since 2015. I submitted electronic 6 months bank statement along with current balance and wrote LOE.

However, I recently asked my bank again after I learnt that CIC refuses applications, and another bank employee said that they will provide all deatils as CIC asked.!!!

Regarding my PCC for Pakistan. I submitted my PCC from Pakistan (home country) after I stayed there more than 6 months in 2013. And the PCC was dated 16 April 2018. However, I went back to Pakistan in July and stayed there for 2 months as my father had critical accident.

I got a new PCC from Pakistan now, dated august 2018

My question is when I submit the Proof of funds and PCC now to CIC via web form, what should I write in LOE, as its already two months since submission of eAPR and it wont look bad for me?

Apologies for long message. Please advise?

Thank you
