No - you can't.I have finished my studies in Canada and have got a 1-year Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
I also have a full-time job offer in Canada, but my employer is not providing me with LMIA number.
Can I still get points for job offer without LMIA?
My employer says that they only approve LMIA if the candidate has applied for a job from outside Canada. No - you can't.
You need an approved LMIA since you are on an open work permit.
PGWP is not considered under EE...or if you have been working in here.. u can only get Canadian experience.. and formal job offer .My employer says that they only approve LMIA if the candidate has applied for a job from outside Canada.
Is that true? Or I can still ask them to approve LMIA ?

No - this isn't true. They can still try to obtain an approved LMIA for your role.My employer says that they only approve LMIA if the candidate has applied for a job from outside Canada.

Agree with @scyllaNo - this isn't true. They can still try to obtain an approved LMIA for your role.
