Hi,

I have a question. I have around 5 years experience as a Network Engineer (IT). This experience is post bachelors which I have completed in 2012. Now in 2018 I want to take admission in Masters because I am not getting additional points in CRS Score. I want to go for masters now and then I want to apply for express entry in year 2020. After I pass master.

So My questions is

Will pre masters experience count ?

Yes, the experience just needs to be per CIC requirements (Continuity, etc...), and as long as it's with the last 10 years.
Cheers.

Get it from a good place. Check WES and their results for relevant programs.
Will Indian Masters Degree assessed by WES will add points to my CRS ? Or It is mandatory to study masters in canada?

What is the benefit of studying Masters in Canada?

So even my experience discontinue as I will study for masters, will not have any problem in CRS Score for my past experience points? Will it count ?

From what I understand, you had work experience between 2012 and 2018, and now you want to go for a degree.
Yes you'll be able to claim points for those years, as it was done within the last 10 years, even if you resign now to pursue degree. Of course, again, each job for which you claim points will need to have reference letters showing duties, salary, etc...

It is indeed very helpful. Thank you for the reply. I will go for masters :)

* Depends upon the University and their current standing with UGC, and interpretation of program standards by WES.
* Work permit, additional CRS points, first hand experience of the culture, etc.
