This depends on the province. I am in BC and provincial health accepted our sponsorship submission confirmation as a proof of current status. My baby also has no stamp or visa.

There was a whole list of documents which they requested. I included AOR as well but they were mostly interested in the sponsorship payment receipt and a flight itinerary or a boarding pass. Those two determined eligibility date for the insurance.

May I know if you pay the RPRF upfront? I am kind of worried as I am May applicant and receive email that my case will be with Mississauga in early July, while until now there are no update, no pre-arrival email, no RPRF payment email, no update on ECAS. May I know which VO you belong to?

Hi, I paid upfront thru online, and submitted the application here in Mississauga. My dependents VO - Manila Visa Office

I am August 13 applicant (Family sponsorship - Dependent child) waiting to hear from IRCC,
When can I link my paper based application to online account. Is it after getting the application number?
I tried using client ID and other information. It says application is not available.

Thank you. That's like a magic after I posted this question, I received the PPR on Sunday Morning! Sender is CIC mississauga while the letter are actually from Hong Kong IRCC.
Does anyone know what is the normal time frame between PPR and CoPR? I am sending the passport and photo to Ottawa.

You would be able to link it 2 or 3 days after application received, try different combinations and write down them, so that next time you can try other one and the no. of persons on the application also includes sponsor. It took me multiple times to successfully link.

We need to pay only $150 for children 75 for sponsorship and 75 for processing, there is no RPRF for children. May that's a standard letter asking for RPRF, may not be applicable to you.

Thanks for the tip. It allows 5 tries per 24 hours. It did not work today. Will try again tomorrow

I think you need to wait for UCI to link with online account. anyone please correct me if I am wrong.
