Dont worry about it,if you add spouse on yr file and it transfer then it call complex case otherwise dont worry about any thing
I call CIC and they said me if you add spouse on it then it call complex case

Hello there!
My timeline is exactly same as yours but i didn't get the questionnaire yet. After transferring my file to Winnipeg office they ask for Schedule A, family information, revised employement offer and medical for my wife. Can you please tell me what questions do they ask in questionnaire?? That will help me alot

I got request for my spouse medical on 22 March and later on 1 August. On 22nd March it was upfront medical and other documents for my spouse and later when they transferred my file to Winnipeg office they sent medical with IME no.

You can call cic and confirm with one of their agents whether docs have been receiver or not .

I did call them yesterday and they said they can't see anything on their end. They asked me to wait for couple of days.
I talked to my consultant and she said we can send the documents again if they don't show up

Hi Everyone
I applied for my PR application on 9th Fab 2018 after getting the invitation from CIC. I got married on 11th May 2018 and applied for wife's visitor's visa. It got rejected. Then CIC asked me to add my wife's profile. I added that on 4th July 2018 after doing all necessary medical tests and her degree evaluation with bunch of forms. Both of our profile is added for more than two months. But there is no reply from CIC. I am staying in Canada and She is India.I contacted CIC they said all background checking and eligibility is done wait for decision. However, this was said thorugh telephonic conversation from CIC agent. I again contacted my immigration officer, he/she said we can not say how long it will take at this moment. There were two conflicting message from both of them. All these message I got from them almost a month back but there is no update yet. Could anybody tell me how long it may take?

Made a call cic today.. eligibility and criminality passed but security isn’t started yet.. i’m not given any timeline as spouse was added in middle of application..

file received 28 dec 2016.. medical done jan 2018.. got married and added spouse april 2018.. questionnaires and spouse medical requested august 2018.. Documents uploaded and medical done Sep 2018. waiting for PPR

Is security and background check the same thing?

After medical is passed, security check starts and it depends how long our home country takes to give security clearance to cic that’s what i was told by call centre agent.. So if background check is in process after medical passed than it’s security yes.

I sent the proof of relationship last month .
But my medical was done in june
So should i wait till next 3-4 months?
