Community Members,
My CRS is at 444 at the moment, so I hoping to get an ITA in early October 2018 drawing given September 19, 2018 CRS cut off was 441.
Is it advisable to start getting PCC's done right away before getting an ITA?
I am an Indian living in the US and have an Indian passport issued from Chicago Consulate. Do I need to mail in the original passport if I DO NOT plan to go there in person?
So, does this mean that if we are applying by mail, we do not need to make a payment.
If anyone has been through the process recently and can share their thoughts, it will be most helpful. Thank you!

- The instructions on the website are confusing. Under Applying by Mail section, It says "Photocopy of all supporting documents should be notarized and attached to the application. Do not send any original documents."
- Then under the subheading How to Apply, it says "Current Indian passport in original and photocopy of the first page and last page of the passport."
