I couldn't get my bank to do a letter with the 6 month average so in addition to the letter they did I submitted the previous 6 months of bank statements and explained in the LOE.

This is the best approach in my opinion, I did same and it got accepted by the case analyst.

Hi guys, any thoughts on NOTES 1 and 3? The NOTES 3 are older but they look more reassuring but NOTES 1 look little out of place, anything I should do? What can i infer from these?

I applied for a BOWP on July 14, I got it last week (September 20).

Thanks a lot for responding, apprx 2 months, then in my case considering CEC Inland applicant PR processing has crossed more than 3 months, BOWP may be mere to have implied status

I recently got passport request from new delhi. I am in canada and my wife is in india. Cic letter i received in mycic account says

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require the following
1 for any applicant currently outside of Canada: passport and photo. (Applicable for my wife because she is in india)
2 for Applicants in Canada: (Applicable for me as i am in canada) If you have a mailing address in Canada and if you and any accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you will be contacted by the local IRCC office with regards to your landing appointment. Please do not send your passport to the visa office if you are in Canada.

Can i submit my passport in ottawa with this letter or no? if anybody faced same situation please help. very urgent help needed.

I think the email is pretty clear that you don’t need to submit passport and they will contact you for a landing interview. If you read a few pages back you will see many Canada based candidates have had landing interviews. Not sure what caused your confusion.

you are already in canada, you dont need a visa.

because there is around 10 weeks of wait time for landing appoinment and as i am primary applicant i have to do landing first and then only my wife can enter in canada.

well then go to india, and ask them to change your address and visa office and then you can submit your passport there. it will take maybe a month or more for them to revert and lot of cash in tickets in the meantime the deadline to submit your wife's passport will pass. but seems like you got time and money.
