I read that the strike was averted for now. Still better to pick it up, if the applicant lives in close proximity to the passport office.Hi Everyone,
For those going to apply for passport this week, try to do a pick up as it seems like Canada post plans to go on strike and if you have choosen for the passport to be mailed to you it may get stuck

Let the agent know about your travel plans at the interview and they probably will schedule your Oath for when you get back from your vacation, unless you get lucky and get Oath Invite for the day after test.Hi everyone i received email for test/interview on oct 17 but i am over 55 and i dont know how long it will take to get oath letter after that as i am traveling on oct 18 but i need to change my travel date?

I went to the office, filled the paperwork, and had it mailed to me. If you're worried about the CanadaPost Strike, you can ask if you can come to pick it up in person.Which application did you use? the one online didnt validate for me or you filled the paper one in Passport office or Canada post?
