nothing in my passport

Hello,

I have applied for visitor visa and dropped my visa on aug 3 2018 . i got my passport back today and there is nothing in my passport . Does it mean my visa got rejected . They left a note saying " Important Information regarding your application has been sent to your mail" but i haven't received any mail.
Could anyone help me on this . i am really in a confused state.

Possibly you are rejected for a tourist visa. Did you get any email from them after submitting your application.

Then you must have entered a wrong email id. Chk your visa form.

But there is news like canada immigration is not stamping on passports ..Really I'm tensed ..And confused please help anyone

It is about stamp on POE like Entry/Exit not about visa stamp read carefully again.
