+1(514) 937-9445 or Toll-free (Canada & US) +1 (888) 947-9445
Well, this is my prediction.
100th draw is a milestone. N they would love to bring it with a bang. What if they increased draw to 4000 and brought crs to 439 (I don't see anything lesser than that). That would bring more invites and again stagnate draw score above 440s
And if they decided to go by the flow as well, it would be a 440 or 441 again.
During December, the draw size is usually lesser. The high size draw during this time of year caters the higher education applications at this point.
When number of applications reduce, the draw size is expected to reduce also due to Christmas season.
I could be wrong. But there are about 9k ppl above 430s. Given the applications incoming from US, I doubt if crs is ever going to come lower than 435 for a year. - that's just me predicting.
However Last year September, we saw a 435 draw. There are going to be applications dropping off from 440 and below, who have given up their dream to come to Canada, some many reapply, some might score higher.
So, again, there might (pun intended) be a chance that number of ppl below 440 may go down.... But there are new ppl who will apply. It's a debate and push and pull.

Hi all

Been following since draw 96. ON 440 with July 2 profile.

Agonizingly close at 440 however already secured a job. To speed up the process should I insist the employer does an LMIA (can add to my EE or temp work permit) or am I eligible for an open work permit? Any advice much appreciated

Thanks to everyone on ROH it's kept me sane reading this!

hi guys,
its been long.. wanted to thank all of you for the support you've shown me throughout the waiting period for the ITA. I finally got the ITA 99th draw. For those who know me I was at 438 since november of last year. By studying French and writing TEF I was able to increase my score to 444. For those trying to give up because you are below 440, pls do not give up. I was there i know how it feels but just try your best to improve your score. Its the best solution. I would like to thank @canadadreams2018 whom I contacted through this forum. She helped me pass the TEF exam and secure 6 marks thanks to her. I took online classes from her which i found very useful. You are really great and one of a kind. Thanks for your support.
@canadadreams2018 I can never forget what you did for me. thanks alot.

my lovely friends here, I really cant thank you enough. this place is everything for me. I remember i used to vent out my frustration here and people always returned warmth for me. If you guys require any help, do let me know. I would continue to follow this forum whatsoever :)

Couple of questions regarding employment reference letters, can anyone please help?
1. One of the previous organizations (A) have been bought over by another MNC (B) after my spouse left. She is going to contact the HR of the new organization (B) for the reference letter. Even though the experience was in A, but obviously we can get it in the letterhead of B. Apart from the regular content required for the reference letter like type of employment, hours/week, annual salary, job responsibilities etc. should anything more be included to establish the connection between A and B?
2. For another of previous organization (C), it has been shut down after she left and the promoter CEO of C has jointly started a new company (D) with other partners. She is going to contact the ex-CEO of C to provide the reference letter. How should the letter be worded in addition to include the necessary information, and will a letter in the letterhead of D be sufficient?

587 candidates already above the 440 mark in only 2 days! Surprising.
