Documents from work to prove 1 year work experience?

I have 3 month experience on my current job since I applied for my PGWP and planning to switch jobs.

What document do I need to ask at my current job to claim those 3 month of experience? Will "reference letter" that states my duties be enough?

And can this be combined with other job, same NOC, but higher wage?
My friend told me that:

Basically one of your jobs has to be held for at least 1 continuous year. After that if you hop every 3 months 4 times, you can use it for extra experience.
How true is this?

Thanks

Your friend is incorrect. You are a CEC applicant so there is no continuity requirement and you can combine NOC's to meet the eligibility criteria.

Technically the reference letter that follows IRCC's guidelines is the only mandatory document to provide but if you have pay stubs provide those as well.

Thanks a lot! Is there a wage min / requirement so that IRCC consider this as a valid job? Right now this is sort of low paid job compared to what other are making in my position in different companies

This can raise a red flag especially if the business is private. I mean why are u earning less. Did your manager gave u favour of making the letter as per the eligible noc categories and in actual u r doing something else. The VO can have such concerns

Sorry, you must have misunderstood me. I am making same amount of money compared to anyone else in the company. I have Mechanical Engineering diploma.

My company is in the sheet metal industry, it's a competitive field, so people get paid less. In other industries the wage is higher, but not significantly. I am performing duties under NOC2253 (6-7 out of 10 duties).
I am making more than a minimum 15, but not close to average (23). Other companies pay 23-26 for my skills, sometimes 30

So I am wondering if me making less at the company where I work now compared to my future job where I get paid more will prevent me from using experience from my first job towards EE?

Sorry for making it complicated for you

As long as ur company is legit, u r performing the duties as what u have described and your salary is not less than the lowest wage set for that profession u r good to go

Sorry, I am an EE applicant (Express entry). Is your statement still valid then? That I can combine 3 month at my current work with another job 9 month, same NOC, but higher wage

You are not an EE applicant. EE is a system that allows you to apply via the CEC, FSW and FST programs.
