For spouse sponsorship, I am a bit confused about Nikkahnama attestation, so there are 3 types of Nikkahnama copies :

1- Urdu Original (Registered with Union Council)
2- English translation (Our Maulvi will get it registered too with union council etc.)
3- NADRA's Nikkahnama

How should we submit these ?

1- For Urdu, should we submit a notarized photocopy ?
2- For English, does it need to be notarized or attested by Foreign Office ?
3- For NADRA, do we submit the original or a notarized copy ?

Please help!

yes you need to submit a notarized copy of the Urdu nikkahnama, and the english translation which needs to be attested (usually when you go to the people who do the translation they will put the proper stamps and attestation etc for it). the nadra marriage registration you will submit just a copy of it, it is already in English and Urdu both

Anyone looking for this information, here's an answer I got from an immigration lawyer : If you have original English Nikkahnama with witnesses' signs and everything then you don't need Urdu/translation, just attach a notarized copy of English Nikkahnama. If you are about to get married then make sure that your Maulvi provides the English Nikkahnama, it makes things easier.

not always the case.

1. some pakistani applicants recently have been asked for a Urdu nikkahnama even though their original was English only with all stamps.
2. since its English document you do not need a notarized copy, just a simple copy is enough. I know because i submitted english only nikkahnama and it was just a normal copy without any notarization and it was accepted. got PPR a few days back.
