ECA Courier to WES from India(Banglore)

I think this is a better thread to ask below questions, since you guys have been there and done that.

I am in the ECA stage and I have completed my Bachelors from Mumbai University.
I only have provisional certificate and I don't have the bachelor's degree certificate.

I am not in Mumbai and actually paying a third party to get the transcripts procured from Mumbai university. Can anyone answer these basic questions

1. Will provisional certificate suffice to be sent out to WES?
WES website says Provisional or Degree certificate, so I just want to confirm.

2. If I am sending all 6 semesters marksheets with provisional certificate to Mumbai university, will I get Transcripts of all six semesters with provisional degree certificates attested by the controller?

3. Is WES the body which assess Mumbai University, I heard somewhere that for Mumbai University you need to send the documents to IQAS

Does anyone have any idea for the above three questions?

I sent by DHL, 1400 cost in January '18 and delivered in 3 business days.

Can you provide the DHL contact or branch details, I need to send another set of docs to WES, Last time i enquired in DHL, Near Kammanahalli Outer Ring road, they have mentioned ard 2700

Dude I live minutes from that place. Don't go there. I used a FedEx guy and he charged 1950 with doorstep pickup. Both my docs reached in 3 days, no hassle.

I sent my WES docs through DHL bluedart and were delivered in 3 to 4 days. Charge was about 1400 (they said for students theres some discount)

I have sent documents through India Post (to my profession's educational board in Canada). They said they will deliver in a week to 10 days. Its been 17 days now. Still their website says they are lying somewhere in Mumbai . They charged me 1000 (I went to DHL first. But they won't send any documents that are laminated for student discount. They quoted me 5000 for the same.)

Speed Post from Post Office takes around 10 days and they charge 1392 INR for sending docs to WES from Delhi region!

wait 20-25 days, Indian post is slowest mode to send docs to WES, u must tell them to send the docs through courier, charges approx same, courier takes 5-6 days, speed post takes 20-25 days to get deliver

I would certainly recommend DHL for sending your transcripts. I booked the shipment on 28th Aug at 10.50 AM IST in Chennai,India and it was delivered to WES on 30th Aug at 11.20 AM Canada time. Even though the cost is slightly on the higher side, you get frequent updates and more importantly, your docs reach quickly and safely.

Depends on what plan you opt for. I opted for DHL Express and it cost me 2625 Rs. There were cheaper plans too. But the delivery takes 7-10 days.

If the website that you’ve mentioned delivers in 3 days, then it is really a good option.

Thanks a ton for this link! They charged only Rs. 901 for the shipment from Chennai and reached WES the 3rd day including the day shipment was picked. The same when I contacted DHL Express directly, they quoted Rs. 3200+ with Student discount. I had to send for me and my wife. Thanks again, it saved me a lot!
