Hi,

Can anyone tell me if my Indian Police Clearance certificate is still valid for a new Canada PR application?

1. I live in Mexico since 1.5 years.
2. I did my Indian PCC from Mexico City on 10-July-2017.
3. I went to home vacation for 1.5 months in Oct 2017. But no more visits to India.

Can someone tell me if I can use the same PCC for ITA for Canada PR now or to get a new one again?

Thanks

The PCC should not be older than 6 months. So you will have to apply a new one.

As you visited india in October your July pcc will not be valid as it doesn't cover your time in india. Get a new one.

Any PCC is valid for 6 months only, IRCC has recently rejected couple of files because of older PCC. Even if he had not travel back to India, he had to submit a newer one.

That is only for the current country of residence. If he left a country and not visited it again the pcc can be older than 6 months. It's on their website.

I have a recent case which got rejected. And they are consulting me now. I am sharing my experience.

Seems like case analyst didn’t read the website!
But the fact is, you can't complain anyone. So better spend extra money to get newer PCC rather than getting rejection later on.

Hi ,
I have a question regarding PCC.
I have stayed in Bangladesh and Zimbawe( Africs) in my past Jobs. However I havent stayed more than 6 months in a row but i use to make frequent travels to these places. So Should i get PCC for these countries? Would it be a mandate? Please help

There is not enough information to give a suggestion. And also no one knows what IRCC may require. But my rule of thumb is this. If you did say 3 month trip in one year and then one more three month trip in next year ... then may be it is okay.

Else let's say you did a 3 month trip once and then another 3 month trip within same year ... then may be better to have a PCC done. So it depends on your actual situation. If your travel history shows you were in a country frequently IRCC may decide to ask for a PCC.

It seems Nitin is citizen of Mexico not India
So why should it matter?
I have a recent case which got rejected. And they are consulting me now. I am sharing my experience.
Can you please also reply about U.S police clearance? As I don't have my ITA but I thought to get it in advance.

Can you please advise?

Just follow the what the website says about pcc validity. If an officer needs pcc they will ask for one.

Hi Nitin,

How long it took for the Indian embassy to issue the PCC in Mexico City ? Also, please let me know if you have further information on "The PCC is issued based on the information/records available on the applicant in the online passport system and takes 2-3 working days."

I applied on 11-Oct-2018 and I haven't received it yet from Mexico City. I got my police verification recently done in India at my residence.
All this will happen if your Police report is not loaded in last 2 years in the Indian Embassy system.
