Finally!!!!!!

After exactly 3 nerve-wrecking weeks since the "supposedly" approval of my application, I finally received my landing interview appointment. It's going to happen October 9 at CIC-Vancouver (1148 Hornby Street) :D I will post a topic about my experiences afterwards

My application process definitely was a quick one and I knew all would come to a good end, but it's great to finally have the official confirmation. I have been living and working in Canada since April 2017. I have an awesome partner, great job and dope apartment here - but as my worker status was going to expire in March, the main stress for me was based on losing all these things I already had.... well, thanks to everyone for keeping me spirit up and such during the last few months

Nothing special about the appointment I suppose: just bring my passport, two photographs, current + expired work permits and RPRF proof. Just for clarity sake in case anyone wonders, the address they send this e-mail from is WST-LandingEnquiries@cic.gc.ca

Congratulations. I am from Vancouver too. Just two blocks away from CIC-Vancouver. Patiently waiting. IP2 July 4th. Thanks for the information. :)

They have another office at Expo Blvd, which I think is not used for this purpose (all Vancouver cases I've heard of had their appointment at Hornby). There's another CIC office in Surrey which does do landings, but I'm pretty sure only residents of Surrey (and further east) get appointments for this one.

I will tell them to get a move on with your application.

Congrats buddy,
You finally got it and I am so glad that the whole PR process did not affect any of your achievements in Canada.
Please tag me in your future topic about the landing interview. I might end up getting the same request instead of PPR.

Hi All,
I want to request GCMS notes. But my agent refuses to order, Can I order by myself without knowing him? Is there a field to enter my email adress when ordering? So can I receive them to my personnel email. Appreciate your help

You can do what you want, your agent works for you and advises you in exchange for money. If he doesn't like it, change him. Of course you can order on your own as the PA, there are 2 websites where you can do that.
