Don't worry, if you kept good records and have good reasons for your travel, it should not be an issue. When I applied several years ago, I also had over 80 trips for almost 300 days out of Canada. It was not an issue.

Yes I've around 250 days of buffer.

VFX_man update:
I had my interview today and my wife had her test and interview.
She only missed 1 question so she passed with flying colours.

Interview went fast for me, they just verified I was over 55 when I had applied and asked what I did for work and looked over my documents.

Looked at the passport and the travel record document -- I had a lot of trips to the USA and she questioned if I was working down there - no, just border runs and visiting family. I have NEXUS, so no passport stamps - She asked how I obtained all of the USA entries data then - Had requested my border crossing records and used those.

She said the ceremony would be in 2-3 months.

And that was it.

I have also noticed that officers schedule family oath invities faster than single applicants...

I have suggested all my friends in Toronto to move out to the outskirts of GTA and apply for citizenship

It's a good piece of advise.. now they can likely add 30 min to 60 min each way on commuting through slow traffic..
