Please, do not say "by email mostly". I have commented twice here that mine came by REGULAR MAIL only.
I would say it's 50/50 chance of getting mail or email, maybe even HIGHER CHANCES of getting the request only by MAIL.

I believe it's 30 days from receiving the correspondence! Within that time frame, you have to either send the FPs, or a letter explaining why you haven't sent them in the timeframe provided and letting them know when they will be receiving it.

I have one question, I am out of country for some emergency. How they send FP if required through email or mail? Is it also update on ecas? And how many days they give for FP?

Thank u so much for ur reply. I applied from London Ontario, I don’t have exact presence days now as I am out of country but total days were around 1320.

There are a lot of posts here on the forum about this, but most people who have taken the test say that thoroughly studying Discover Canada is more than enough

Hello folks - just logged in again to post a quick update. ECAS went live for me a few weeks back, and shows they officially 'received' my application on August 28th, that they sent me correspondence on September 1st (I received an email that day), and that they 'began processing' on September 13th.

Nice to see some progress!

Was the correspondence the email about the AOR? or something else?

Hi All,
Just came back from RCIC office in Windsor. I went for the test and interview today. My test was at 9 but stared around 9:20 due to bad weather in Windsor.

Finished the test in less than 2 minutes and made sure that I reviewed my answers before submitting the paper. I was the 1st one to leave the test room and was then called for an interview with a CIC officer.

The interview went very well, I got 20/20 in the test. The officer asked for my original IDs, passports and degree. She compared them to what I submitted. Then she grabbed the residency calculator I submitted which has lots of trips due to the nature of my job. I was a little nervous before the interview because I did not leave an buffer and did not mention any day trips to the US. The officer was okay with that. She just looked at 3 trips and compared them to the passport. Then she smiled and said congrats you met all requirement and asked me if I'm available to take the oath on Oct 10
Can't wait!!!
