Marriage - Post Landing

Hello,

I finished my landing this month (September 2018) and I am planning to get married on December 31st this year. My question is can my fiance apply for her own PR after our wedding (Of course mentioning that spouse is a PR and relationship status as Married) or is it mandatory to go through Spousal Sponsorship (She is currently working in the US and completed her masters, CRS around 481).

Thanks for the quick reply. The only reason I was worried was Spousal Sponsorship takes a year and if she can apply her own PR that should be quicker. Thanks for clarifying.
