I applied for TRV online for my wife 3 kids and my mother to go and visit my sisters during the Diwali break. They refused on the grounds of Travel History, personal assets and financial status. I am confused as I have travelled all over Europe Asia UK etc for the last twenty years having multiple visas for Europe and UK. I submitted the documents showing that I have procured 200000 sqmtrs of land for a school project and showed more than 60lacs in my bank account. I do not understand this refusal and the reasons given. Any ideas what should I do and how do I go about this, as my sisters are really wanting us to visit them for a holiday and their kids also want to spend some time with my kids. Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Each application is assessed for its individual merits. From your post, it seems that only you have demonstrated strong ties to India such as your property ownership, financial situation, travel to other visa-required countries.

Have you been approved for a TRV?

All of us were refused the TRV. My kids r 13 14 and 15 and study in an international school and we have given them the letter from the school as well. Since I am the primary applicant I have submitted all documents requested by the IRCC as per their eligibility checklist docs. Am a bit perplexed by this as I have never been refused a visa before. I myself have been to Canada alone when I was 14 yrs old albeit I am 43 now. Just trying to get a plausible reason for this refusal.

Unfortunately Canada TRV rejection rate is very high compared to other countries... sometimes we see baseless reasons for rejection...
VO decision on TRV rejection is quite common with travel history / purpose of travel / financial status ...

I know some of the applicants are approved though they lied on application or not having enough funds or travel history ... or fake purpose of visit .... but we cant do much about these decisions...

I suggest you to order GCMS notes for your processed application to understand VO notes in detail and justify the reasons for rejections in next try...

May apply for the notes but don't think I am going to bother with Canada as there many other destinations I can go for a holiday. If my sisters want to meet we can just go somewhere else for a family reunion vacation. But thanks for the suggestions.

IMO, the key reason why you and your family were refused is because you applied for your entire family (yourself, your wife. kids, and your mom).

As your sisters and their families live in Canada, applying for your entire immediate family means there are no immediate family members in India to return to = Chances of overstaying your visit (at least to the visa officer)
